
The junior high spellers at this years regional spelling bee! Congratulations to Bailey and Hunter making the finals! Hunter finished 17th and Bailey finished 8th qualifying for the State Spelling Bee!





We are so excited about the Olympics! The 3rd grade researched and designed a Winter Olympic athlete to follow during the next 2 weeks.

Today the kindergarten students each presented their animal posters to the rest of the class. Everyone enjoyed learning new information about each of the animals. The posters are hanging in the hallway outside the classroom if anyone is interested in viewing them.

Lunch will be provided for students at the Knowledge Bowl competition tomorrow! Return time has not been made clear, but I’ll make sure to try to get students back by 3 o’clock. Thanks all for your patience in the coordination of this event!

Attention Knowledge Bowl students! You need to be at the school at 6:30 AM tomorrow to leave for the league competition.

1st and 2nd Graders learned about Jellyfish today! They found out how the jellyfish's stingers work and were the jellyfish's mouth is. The helped make a poster about jellyfish and made a craft jellyfish.




Due to inclement weather and illness, Kid's Church and Youth Group have been cancelled for tonight (Wednesday, January 19th).

There are over 600 snowflakes filling the lunchroom! The students are working very hard and the competition is getting fierce. Thank you parents for all the time spent making snowflakes and cleaning up from this competition! Thursday 1/20 is the last day! We can't wait to see the total and which class will enjoy the popcorn party!!





Pawnee School District RE-12 will be closed Thursday, January 6, 2022 due to blowing and drifting snow.

The 8th graders showed off their sewing skills and made some awesome puppets for the preschool and kindergarten classroom! Great job and Thanks so much!




School will be released and buses will run today at 2pm due to inclement weather. Stay tuned for further updates regarding this snowstorm.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! We are trying to fill the lunchroom with snowflakes for the month of January! Students can create paper snowflakes at home and turn them in to the cafeteria. The class that brings the most snowflakes will win a popcorn party at the end of the month!


There will be NO Church youth groups meeting tomorrow after school. These activities plan to resume next week. Thanks!
